Advanced Open Water Diver Course

The Advanced Open Water Diver Course aims to expand your scuba skills and build your confidence by going through different specialties. You can take this course after earning your PADI Open Water certification.

  • Age at least 15 years old

Description

Do you want to explore more challenging dive sites across the globe? The Advanced Open Water Diver Course provides you with the necessary knowledge and skills to dive deeper and check out new underwater environments.

​The course starts with a self-study of e-Learning materials that you can access at home. When you’re ready, you can progress to the actual diving lessons under our PADI-certified instructors. The in-water training involves five Adventure Dives (three compulsory dives and two dives based on your personal interests and preferences). ​Don’t worry about the scuba diving equipment because it’s included in the package.

These following dives are designed to sharpen your scuba skills and make you a better diver:

  • Underwater navigation
  • Deeper water diving (depths from 18-30m)
  • Choice of 3 Adventure: Search and Recovery, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diving, Night Diving, and others

After fulfilling the course requirements, you will receive a license from PADI which qualifies you to dive to a depth of 30m with a dive buddy.

Rescue Diver Course

The PADI Rescue Diver Course will strengthen your problem-solving abilities and teach you how to become proactive in dealing with potential hazards. The course will provide you with the right tools to recognize and deal with difficult situations before developing into a full-blown crisis.

Requirements:

  • Valid EFR course or register for EFR during the course
  • Age at least 12 years old
  • Health certificate within the past 12 months

Rescue Diver Course

Description

The Rescue Diver course is both a challenging and rewarding program that will equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and techniques to help you deal with dive emergencies. The combination of knowledge development and rescue exercises will teach you to detect and respond to underwater distress. Applying theories and skills during rescue scenarios will help build your confidence and improve your emergency response preparedness when dealing with potential dive emergencies. All the necessary basic scuba gear that you will need will be provided by your instructor.

The following topics are included in this course:

  • Learning about self-rescue
  • How to recognize and manage stress in other divers
  • Emergency management and equipment
  • How to rescue unresponsive divers and panicked divers

Emergency First Response - EFR Course

Emergency First Response Course

The EFR Course builds lay rescuers’ confidence and equips you with simple-to-follow steps for emergency care which can help save lives.

Description

The Emergency First Response Course meets the CPR and first aid training requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver Course and all professional-level ratings. There are self-study materials and videos that you can learn at home. The course allows you to practice the knowledge and skills that you gained in a calm and tension-free environment.

Most PADI Instructors are also Emergency First Response Instructors. They will teach you internationally recognized medical guidelines for emergency care.
